Things to note:
Due to the steepness/backing at west side houses, we ask that you do not bring your boat and trailer to the home.
To keep our driveways in good condition, we ask that you come out of them in 4x4 year-round or in manual LOW.
We try and keep the docks in from 5/15-9/10 roughly. However, if water levels drop below safety levels, they will be pulled sooner. This is considered an act of nature--no refunds will be given if we do have to pull the docks early.
Observe the 25 MPH posted speed limit along Lake Shore Drive. Many of these houses are owned by local people and would greatly appreciate your slower speeds.
Occupancy and parking cannot be exceeded due to this home having a vacation rental permit. Please see above under AMENITIES for parking and people allowances.
No fires or fire pits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.

Property #1 was beautiful. 3 out of the 4 rooms have a lake view and king beds. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Cabin was extremely quiet at night which was wonderful. Plenty of parking and the view was lovely.

This was the best house we have ever rented. It fit the eight of us with room to spare. Loved the kitchen! So many pots and pans. Made cooking everyday a breeze. Loved the fact we could park in the garage. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Great service. The propane for the BBQ had ran out, I called, they delivered a fresh one in a timely manner.
The house was large with plenty of room for four couples. Big Kitchen which was fully outfitted. Nice location, with nice view. We would stay there again.

This is our second time at Wallowa Lake and using you guys to rent property. The customer service is wonderful and you all have such a quick response time. You make wanting to come back year after year a no-brainer! Both locations we've stayed were great and this last one right off the lake, with our own dock, and ample room for 10 people was amazing!!! We look forward to next year!

Very friendly and attentive!
We visited in the middle of winter and it was very cold (-9 to 12), but the cabin was very warm and comfortable. Nice wood stove to help our level of comfort. Unfortunately it was too cold to spend much time outside, although we did take grandkid's sledding a couple times. Owners left plenty of wood. Very nice experience.

Nicest place we have ever rented. The view was breathtaking, fishing experience better than we ever imagined, fantastic kitchen, great beds. It was one of the best vacations we have ever experienced. Lots of stairs but we have no problem with stairs so it worked well for us. Even if you can't navigate the stairs there is a nice bedroom and bath on the main floor and view from the deck so it would work if someone cannot use stairs. Very clean, thanks for sharing this great home with us.

Your email with explicit driving directions to the house were worth their weight in gold. Also, the cheery hello when I called the office to inform you we would be leaving by 8am was so nice. No boredom in her voice or making me feel I was interrupting.
This was the first visit to the north east corner of Oregon for all in our party, which included 3 visiting sisters from Ohio. The house was so comfortable and accommodating inside and out. We loved sitting on the deck looking out at the beautiful moraine across the lake while being entertained by loons, geese, and ducks. We couldn't help but notice the number of vehicles passing by on the east side of the lake, and felt pleased with ourselves for choosing a house on the very quiet west side. Our only wish was to have meet Christine Anderson. We were fortunate to stumble upon her lovely book "Moments & Intervals" at the Enterprise bookstore, and it was clear that she lives very close to the vacation home. That would have made this visit over the top marvelous! Oh! The blood moon definitely added that once in a life time feel to our experience too, and the tram ride, and the Alpine Festival, and the art galleries, and the good food ... is it obvious how much we enjoyed our time? We most definitely will be back!
WE WANT YOU TO HAVE A GREAT TIME WHILE STAYING AT WALLOWA LAKE! Here are a few rules you’ll want to adhere to be a good boating neighbor:
LAUNCHING: NO HOUSE ALLOWS BOAT LAUNCHING FROM THE HOUSE.
Launch from north or south day use areas.
Refer to your individual home information on empty trailer storage. CALL IF QUESTIONS.
If you leave your boat/truck at the launch areas, make sure you lock the vehicle.
You are responsible for your own wake and any damage caused by you in regards to our dock.
You are responsible for your own wake and any damage caused by you to other docks on the lake.
Observe the no wake buoy, the posted speed limit on them is clearly marked.
Be respectful of boats moving slower than you and be considerate of the wake you create.
The buoys in the lake are clearly marked with posted speed
Do not engage in “drag races” close to the West side homes
Please depart slowly from the docks and come in slowly to the docks.
Slow down if another boat is trying to overtake you.
Please provide an ample berth around slower moving vessels.
PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS
Noise travels very well on the lake. Please be respectful for your neighbors on and off the lake.
The middle and highway side of the lake are more suited for play time.
The west side of the lake where the cabins/houses are located is more suited for fishing, quiet travel, and “Sunday drives”
