Policies and Procedures
NOTE: Wallowa Lake Vacation Rentals does NOT have an office at the lake. You must rely on the confirmation we provide you to find your home. If you need any assistance finding your cabin, please call the 24-hour support number you were given. We will be more than happy to guide to your cabin.
Wallowa Lake Vacation Rentals requires 1/2 of the rent payable in a Visa, Mastercard, check, cash or money order. Upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation will be sent to you with directions to the house, key information, and the balance due, which includes the 6% hotel tax for the Lake area and 9% hotel tax for the Joseph homes. If you would like to pay by credit card, please fill out the information online when you book online, (this is a secure site), or if you prefer to pay by check the balance is due 7 days prior to your arrival. It is very important that you include your Reservation number and name with all payments and correspondence. This will help us ensure the proper application of funds to your reservation.
Should you ever need any assistance during your stay, please feel free to contact us. We will provide you with both our office and cell phone number. Wallowa Lake Vacation Rentals is a family-based business, our support staff will be more than happy to help you.
The cabins are fully furnished and we provide you with the following basics:
- Garbage bags
- Dish Soap
- Dishwasher Soap
- Pots & Pans
- Kitchen Utensils
- Towels & Linens
- BBQ & Lawn Furniture
- Toilet Paper & Paper Towels
We are very happy you are staying with us. Please let us know if there are any questions about your accommodations or our area.
Cancellation Policy
If we receive your cancellation request within 30 days from the date of your arrival date, a refund of your deposit will be given minus $50 for a cancellation fee. If we do not receive your cancellation request within 30 days from the date of your arrival but we are able to rent out your requested place for the same number of days as your request, refund given minus $50 for a cancellation fee. If we do not receive your cancellation request within 30 days from the date of your arrival and we are not able to rent out your requested place for your requested number of days, no refund is given.
Pet Policy
With pre-approval, we can welcome your pooch at SOME of our vacation rentals.
- Please call or email with your desired unit # to see if that unit allows pets
- All pets must be pre-approved
- A signed rental agreement is required PRIOR to your occupancy of the home
- There is a $10 per day fee for the pooch, non-refundable
- Keep the pet on a leash at all times while outside
- Scoop all poop and dispose of it by wrapping it in a plastic sack and then placing it in the garbage. If there is additional time policing the yard and removing waste, you agree to reimburse us for this at $20 per hour; minimum charge of $60.
- Please keep your pooch off of the furniture and out of the bedrooms.
- If there is pet waste on the carpet or furnishings, you agree to reimburse us for the cost of professionally cleaning the carpets and/or furniture.
- If there is any damage that is done to the unit or grounds from the pooch, you agree to reimburse us for returning the unit to its original condition.
Please contact us for a pet agreement, sign it and return it to us within 10 days from the date you received it.
If reimbursement is to be made for any of the above stipulations, payment is to be made via money order and is to be received within 15 days from departure date.

| Juniper Jam - The sweetest little music festival in Eastern Oregon Saturday, September 4, 2010 11:00am - 10:00pm Wallowa County Fairgrounds, Enterprise, OR The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance is pleased to announce the launch of a new music festival, taking place over Labor Day Weekend at the Wallowa County Fairgrounds in Enterprise, Oregon. This fun-filled day of music starts at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 4, 2010, with music going on all day until about 10:00 PM. Festival goers will enjoy many styles of music, including folk, country, jazz, Americana and blues, as well as great food and drink, plus children's activities. Tickets for the event are $10, kids under six are free. |

| Hells Canyon Mule Days Quilt Show Welcome to our 8th annual quilt show that is staged during the Hells Canyon Mule Days event in Enterprise at the Wallowa County Fairgrounds. This exhibit recognizes individual quilt makers from the area with over 100 quilts on display for the three day event. Our show committee is always pleased to show new quilts and we welcome your entry. The Cloverleaf Hall comes alive with quilts that foster designs from the past and also current day patterns that will amaze and inspire the quilter and non-quilter alike. Quilts will be entered in three categories; Bed Size Quilts, Crib/Lap Size Quilts, and Wall Hangings. Also, a special category sponsored by Hannah Beaudoin from Savoie’s Specialties, for Mule designed motif quilts. There will be vendors representing quilt shops throughout the region for all those “must have/can’t resist” items...The raffle quilt will be on display and tickets may be purchased for $1.00 each or six for $5.00 and the winning ticket will be drawn on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Ample free parking and handicap accessible. Admission: $3.00 - good for all weekend. Show Hours: Friday 10-5, Saturday 10-5, Sunday 10-3. |
| Hop The Blues Quilt Shop Hop - 2010 |

Every shop will be filled with FREEBIES, wonderful samples, prizes, and lots of fabric for your quilting needs. | Joseph Community Center We run the bazaar 2 separate weekends. Some vendors attend both weekends and some only one or the other. We have both hand crafted and commercial exhibitors. There will be door prizes and Christmas music both weekends. On the 3rd and the 4th, Santa Paws will be at the Bazaar. Santa will be there for photos for children, adults and of course our most beloved pets! We have 30 vendors attending each weekend from within Wallowa County and also out of state vendors.
