I have to tell you how much we enjoyed that cabin! It was perfect and the parking was really nice� We loved being tucked down a side street with so little traffic and having the river at our back yard! The cabin was so very well taken care of and we will look forward to reserving that specific cabin again!

We enjoyed our time at the cabin and the lake! We didn't want to leave and only wish it were closer to Bend. I think I would be tempted to come every weekend. We were able to do some really good hiking and fishing. Lots of fun, good weather too! We really enjoyed the cabin and would definitely stay there again. We had a wonderful time at Wallowa lake. We loved Black Bear cottage. We were so impressed by how well it was stocked with just about everything a person would need. The cabin was cozy and quiet. The decor made us feel right at home. The deck in the back was awesome. We had deer visit us daily. We also liked the privacy of the cabin because of the huge yard. We were definitely satisfied. We returned home last night after three wonderful nights at cabin #6. I hadn't been to Wallowa Lake since I was about 6 and my wife, son (16), and his friend (turned 17 at the cabin) had never been there. The cabin was perfect. Just like staying in someones home instead of a rental cabin! The only thing that could have been better was if it was near the river or right on the lake. Every detail was thought of. Craig

We loved the cabin. It was easily accessible. The view of the snow covered mountains was beautiful and serene, and it was very comfortable. I could feel the tension lift as I relaxed by the fireplace with my wife while the kids amused themselves downstairs with the big screen TV. Robert from Idaho

Our stay at Moonshine Creek was nothing short of AMAZING. We will have memories to last a lifetime. Upon arriving, it was getting dark and I was not sure where I was going, but had my handy directions provided by you. When we drove up, the lights were on and it felt like we were home. Warm and inviting, a beautiful cabin with everything we needed. The kingsize bed was incredibily comfortable. In the evening we stoked the fireplace and enjoyed the warmth it brought to the entire cabin. The stars at night were incredible! I did not know that so many stars exsisted. We just returned from an incredible vacation at Wallowa Lake. The house was perfect for the 4 of us adults and well...the view. Wow. It was incredible. We hardly wanted to leave the house, but spent lots of time hiking and exploring. We have rented houses in vacation spots all over the US and this one has the best view and (almost the best) amenities of any of them.

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful time that our family had at Huckleberry Meadow cabin. It was like our own little home in the woods. We were so surprised with how well stocked the cabin was. I had packed a few things that I was sure would NOT be in the cabin, like: Flash lights, spatula, cleaning supplies, toys for the kids, cheese grader and more. Boy were we surprised to see that the cabin already had all that and more. Your cabin has things that I don't even have in my house. There was not one thing that I needed and couldn't find. We home school our 4 children and it was wonderful how much hands on learning we all got and how much we enjoyed it. The kids loved the swing and the large yard. They were delighted to run through the sprinkler to cool off. There was several deer and their baby fawns up at the cabin everyday and as they ate the grass in the yard, our kids were thrilled to be so close to Bambi! Gibson Family

I have to say we've rented many resort homes before but none that have been so well outfitted as this one. There was just nothing a person needed while staying there. Our stay at Wallowa Lake was unbelievable!! We were all are so glad that we had the chance to stay in the Rams Head Cottage. This cottage is a home that you can call home for yourself. What we liked the most about the Rams Head Cottage is how when you open all the windows your hear all that Wallowa Lake has instore, as well as the flow of the Wallowa River and the great smell of pine. Our kids played on the tree swing for the majority of their days while at the Huckleberry Meadow.....we had to pull them away just to go and see the sights! The deer that bed beside the cabin are just like family...they liked to join us for dinner on the deck...which Natalie thought was super cool, but cautious Mom shooed them away! The mountains here are so tall! We enjoyed glassing, and pondering what was on the mountains that we had a nice clear view of from the Ruby Peak Retreat. Nice furnishings, nice log beds, nicely stocked, and well....just plain nice! Anne

We were apprehensive about renting the downstairs of the Quail Brush because we weren't sure about the top unit being used by someone else. When you described the Trail Hiker as going home to stay with your Grandparents, I didn't fully appreciate what you meant! We thought it would be perfect for our kids to be right in the middle of the action so we rented the #3 unit, (Bonneville). We were so pleasantly surprised with how close we were to everything! The kids could walk to the carts, the horses, and the arcade while Sam and I just enjoyed playing cards on the table. We found our way to the Golden Saddle with good directions from Cindi....she wasn't kidding when she said that it is almost at the end of the road, and when you think you have gone too far, keep going! But, when we walked into the Golden Saddle, we were shocked! This house is so unbelievably gorgeous! The furnishings, the atmosphere, everything was more than we could ever imagine, and couldn't believe that we were going to spend a week of our life here. It is the best vacation that we have ever taken, and we highly recommend this house. We have stayed in a lot of Cindi's homes, but this by far is the pick of the litter, so to speak! Last year my family & I had the opportunity to stay at one of Cindi Aschenbrenner's cabins and what a TREAT!!! The cabin was just like home!! It was clean, well kept, nicely furnished, all the comforts of home, including games and the best thing of all - a washer & dryer!!! My family & I have stayed at several other rental companies cabins at Wallowa Lake and have been truly disappointed. Those cabins have been absolutely filthy, not stocked and in need of basic repairs. In one case, they would not allow small pets due to allergies and I only stayed one night because the dirt triggered my asthma. My dog is cleaner than any of those cabins!! We have NEVER had this experience at Cindi's cabins! Her cabins are clean, comfortable, and just like home! My family will be enjoying the month of August in one of Cindi's cabins on the lake due to our wonderful experience last year!!! Thank you Cindi!!" Stacey

Loved our stay at cabin #46. What a beautiful cozy well kept cabin. My family and I had so much fun here playing game, doing crafts, and relaxing. We were able to see the gondola running up and down the mountain side, while taking in the views of the river right outside our kitchen window. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the huge back deck with the visiting deer from time to time. We've stay in many cabins here at Wallowa Lake but none compare to this treasure. We just pack our clothes and food, cuz this cabin is very well stocked. We loved the washer dryer, and dish washer, all the comfort of home. There are so many activities to do, fishing, biking, hiking, miniature golf, and shopping. Don't miss a trip up the gondola the food up on top is great and the view is even better.
